Crowne Plaza Albany - The Desmond Hotel, Albany

My stay at the hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The rooms, although lacking a view due to their corner location, were comfortable and clean, despite showing signs of wear like outdated carpets and bathrooms. However, the strong patchouli odor upon arrival was off-putting. The service was generally friendly and accommodating to our group visiting for a wedding, though there were some issues with seating arrangements. The location, while ideal for business, had its drawbacks, including a cold atmosphere and interactions with unhelpful staff. Overall, a stay with both highlights and challenges.
